CHINA, Ming Dynasty, Tianqi Period (1620-1627), scalloped porcelain dish, white background with blue glaze decoration depicting a Phoenix rising, signed at the base 'Da Ming Chen Hua Nian Zhi' (made during the Chenghua period of Great Ming), two old gold repairs to rim, (135mm wide). Very fine.
