GREAT BRITAIN POLITICAL TOKEN, engraved on a shaved smooth English halfcrown sized silver coin (32.5mm), small pierced hole at top edge for suspension ring, obverse, Britannia standing with shield and spear and at her left is a crossed bow and quiver of arrows behind a flaming torch all above an ensign with the initials, 'TL', reverse inscribed, 'the Tyrant/Buonaparte/Dethroned/April 2d 1814/Louis XVIII/Restored to the Throne/of France'. Very fine, historically interesting and scarce.
