ROYAL BOTANIC SOCIETY OF LONDON, prize medal in bronze (51mm), by B.Wyon, loosely held in a darkened silver bezel probably previously had a domed crystal glass cover, with ring top suspension, obverse, gathering of tropical plants with 1839 in exergue, reverse, an open wreath with Queen Victoria crown at top, in the centre inscribed, 'Awarded/to/Walter Wood/for/A Ball Room Bouquet/June 22nd/1881'. Extremely fine.
