1887 PROOF CROWN, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3921, ESC-2586, L&S 74, Davies 480 (R). 28.16g. equivalent dies to the Five Sovereign though slightly larger at 38mm. Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, J.E.B. on truncation. Reverse - Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon small ...P. in relief below right of exergue, B is badly deformed. Deep blue grey brilliance, FDC and rare.
