1887 PROOF THREEPENCE, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3931, ESC-3437, Davies 1330 (Dies 1 A) (S). 1.44g. Plain Edge ^Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's small Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, Plain truncation. Three dots, one on each side of the cross above the crown. The left side of the crown has seven pearls^Reverse - Merlen's 1822 design was modified by L.C. Wyon, substituting St Edwards with the Imperial crown above Arabic numeral 3, which splits the date; near the rim, two oak branches form a wreath tied by a ribbon at the base.^Dark blue grey toned, brilliant FDC and scarce.
