1887 PROOF CROWN, Victoria, 1837-1901. 1887, S-3921, ESC-2586, L&S 74, Davies 480 (R). 28.20g. equivalent dies to the Five Sovereign though slightly larger. Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, J.E.B. on truncation. Reverse Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon small B.P. in relief below right of exergue. Slight toning, brilliant FDC and rare.
