1887 SHORT PROOF SET CASE - SILVER COINS ONLY, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-PS6 Crown to Threepence (7 coins) Contemporary shagreen style brown leather covered timber presentation case. The lid is plain except for a decorative gold line border. Square case fitted brass push-button lock at the front. The Interior has six blue velvet roundels surrounding a central one for the crown. Fitted with blue ribbon lifters and a plain white silk lining to the lid. Mintage 287 sets issued. Good very fine and scarce.
