1887 PROOF SHILLING - EXTREMELY RARE REVERSE - LOOPLESS TAIL VARIETY, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3925, ESC-unlisted, Davies 980 Dies (1 A -Ext. Rare). 5.61g. Obverse - Joachim E. Boehm's small Jubilee bust with small crown and veil, J.E.B. on truncation. Reverse - Square topped crowned shield within the garter, the crown breaks through the garter. The loop on the Q in QUI (garter inscription) has a loopless tail. Gem, beautifully toned, brilliant FDC and extremely rare.
