1893 PROOF CROWN, Victoria, 1837-1901. S-3937, ESC-2594, L&S 109, Davies 480 (S). 28.23g. Lettered Edge, DECUS ET TUTAMEN ANNO REGNI LVI in relief equivalent dies to the Five Sovereign though slightly larger. Reverse - Benedetto Pistrucci's St George and the Dragon small B.P. in relief below right of the exergue. This die variety reveals the horse's mouth has teeth. Iridescent toned, brilliant FDC and scarce.
