1893 PROOF THREEPENCE, Victoria, 1837-1901. 1893, S-3942, ESC-3445, Davies 1350 (Dies 2 A) (S). 1.41g. Plain Edge. Reverse - Modified version of Merlen's original Maundy design. Now with Imperial crown above numeral 3 (mark of value), which splits the date; near the rim, two oak branches form a wreath tied by a ribbon at the base Slight iridescence, FDC and scarce.
