1902 PROOF FLORIN, Edward VII, 1901-1910. S-3981, ESC-3578, Davies 1530 (N). 11.27g. Reverse - De Saulles helmed and cloaked figure of Brittania with trident and shield bearing the union flag. She is looking right and standing on the prow of a small boat surrounded by waves. Legend interrupted by the trident and helmet reads ONE FLORIN TWO SHILLINGS with the date underneath in relief on the boat's prow. The standing figure of Britannia was drawn by De Saulles from life using the daughter of the then Master of the Mint as his model. Light tone, FDC.
