INDIA, Sultanates, AE issues of Sultans of the Adil Shahs of Bijapur (5), together with a lot of jital coins (25) from Mehrabanid (local Sistani rulers from the Saffarid ancesttry) struck at the mint of Nimruz from the 14th - 15th century. Fair - very fine, mostly scarce, some needing conservation. (30)

Ex Dr L.J. Sherwin Collection, previously from Jean Elsen, Belgium, the Bijapur lot from Sale 94 (lot 1858), December 15, 2007, the Mehrabanid group from Jean Elsen as a lot from probably the same sale or auction at a cost of 450 euros.
