INDIA, Assam, Independent Kingdom, Gadadhara Simha Supatpha, (SE 1603-1618, A.D. 1681-1696), dated 33, silver octagonal rupee (1681), obv. Ahom legend "Kao boi/pha leng-/don heu/ciu", a crested bird with a long tail (peacock ?) walking at lower right, rev. Ahom legend "Chao Siu-/pat-pha pi/n khun lak-/ni rai-san", lion at lower right, (KM.30). Toned, nearly extremely fine and rare.
