ATHENS TYPE, issue of Levantine Region, uncertain issue, issued in late 5th-early 4th century B.C., silver obol, (0.69 g), imitating Athens, obv. helmeted head of Athena to right smoothed, rev. owl standing right, head facing; olive spray or **G* to left, [A**Q*E] downwards to right, (cf.S.2530, cf.Meshorer and Qedar 219, cf.Samaria Hoard 333, Sofaer 7-11, cf.HGC 10, 554 [Gaza?]). Lightly toned, very fine and rare.
