VESPASIAN, (69-79 A.D.), silver denarius (3.49 g), Rome mint, struck 77-78 A.D., obv. CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head left, rev. IMP XIX in exergue, sow walking left with three little piglets, (cf.S.2292, RIC II 109, BMC 214, RSC 214). Good very fine with a delightful agrarian scene on the reverse with a light patination, rare.
