HADRIAN (A.D. 117-138), AE sestertius, issued 129-130, (23.09 g), obv. bare head to right of Hadrian draped, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. IVSTITIA AVG PP around, S C across field, in exergue COS III, Justitia seated to left holding patersa and vertical sceptre, (cf.S.3605, RIC 1155 [R] [new volume], BMC 1428, Ban.480, Strack [1933] 823). Superb even brown patina, nearly extremely fine and very rare in this condition.
