TACITUS, (A.D. 275-276), billon antoninianus, Lugdunum mint, (4.04 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Tacitus to right, around IMP C CL TACITVS AVG, rev. around VIRTV S AVG, Virtus standing to left holding spear and leaning on shield, (S.11823, RIC 68, RSC 170). Attractive patina, good extremely fine, scarce in this condition.
