CARAUSIUS, (A.D. 287-293), billon antoninianus, London mint, (5.06 g), obv. radiate draped and cuirassed bust of Carausius to right, around IMP C CARAVSIVS P F AVG, rev. around P A X AVG, Pax standing to left holding vertical sceptre and branch, B [E] either side, MLXXI in exergue, (S.13639, RIC 98, Webb 139). Dark brown patination, nearly extremely fine/very fine, rare.
