GROUP OF FIVE: 1939-45 Star; Pacific Star; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Royal Naval Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (EIIR coinage bust without Br:Omn). First two medals unnamed, S.7780. R.T.Walker. on third and fourth medals, R35556 C.P.O. R.T.Walker R.A.N. on last medal. All named medals impressed. Swing mounted, contact marks on third and fourth medals, otherwise very fine.
Note: Official Number for WWII service shown in Record of Mobilized Service was S.7980 not S.7780.
R35556 Raymond Thomas Walker, born 27Jul1925 at Drummoyne, Sydney, NSW; joined RAN Reserve at the rank of Ord Seaman II Class and was mobilized on 15Feb1943 at Sydney, NSW; Disch.21Dec1962 as Chief Petty Officer ex HMAS Creswell.
