Handwritten and original cheque for ?8.0.0 for the State Treasurer, Hartford 10th May 1782, to pay the Sheriff of the Country of New Haven. Very fine.
Ex R & R Auction Nov 2011, catalog 378, item 221, with letter of authenticity.
