COOK DISTRICT PASTORAL AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY, Estd 1891, in silver (39mm), no maker, reverse inscribed, 'James Dick/Local Coffee/1895'. Edge nicks and contact marks, otherwise good fine and rare.

Cook District is in far north Queensland and covers the vast Cape York Peninsula north of Cairns. One of its small towns is Cooktown. This is the same Cook portrait and wreath for the die used on the Federation Medal 1901 (C.1901/39).
