"LARPENT" JUBILEE, 1899, In Commemoration of the 60th (see note) Anniversary of the Anchoring in Corio Bay 28 June 1849, in aluminium (31mm) (C.1899/9a), by Stokes & Sons. Some hairlines, otherwise virtually uncirculated.

Note: Originally issued for the 'Golden Jubilee' in 1899 but ten years later in 1909 the medal was issued again for the 'Diamond Jubilee' but the issue date of 1899 was not changed. The only alteration was on the reverse where 50th was replaced with 60th.
