(NORTH QUEENSLAND RIFLE MEETING), shooting medal in voided gold (9ct; 6.21g; 24x32mm), with ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, 'P.J.Mellick's medal match 1938/Won by H.W.Jackson.' Toned very fine.
The North Queensland Rifle Meeting was held at Cluden, Townsville over the Easter weekend in April 1938. In the P.J.Mellick Medal Match fired over 300 yards the winner was H.W.Jackson of the Marian Rifle Club near Mackay in Queensland.
