CHINA, Han Dynasty, Wang Mang rebel, (c.7-23 A.D), knife money, value of 500, length 74mm, (14.71 g) inscribed "Qio Dao Wu Bai" (H.9.13, Sch.116, TFP 454). Earthen encrustation and somewhat corroded, otherwise fine and rare.

A similar example in Noble Numismatics Sale 124 (lot 1761) realised $300.
