CHINA, an interesting collection of cash coins on two strings one with (254) cash and a second with (93) cash with issues from the Tang Dynasty to the Ch'ing (Qing) Dynasty, the composition of the collection appears as Table 1 (with illustration) in the Australasian Coin & Banknote Magazine February 2020 (p.52) (James Gardiner, Australian missionary collector, [1878-1953] collection), has a wide spread of issues but mostly from Gao Zong (1736-1795) with 135 examples (39%), also noted 6 Japanese and 24 worn issues. Mostly fine - very fine. (347)
