QUEEN VICTORIA, Gothic crown, 1847 undecimo edge (S.3883), edge impressed by a broken or slipped piece of collar grained border (reverse 1 o'clock position). Minute hairlines in obverse fields, attractive peripheral tone on obverse, brilliant, virtually FDC and rare as such.

Private purchase from Spink Australia, July 1981 (?1,100, $2,400).
