ISLE OF MAN, WWI Knockaloe Internment Camp for German POWs, trench art brooch on a shaved down copper coin, obverse features a naked man pensively sitting on a rock with his left wrist chained to the rock, above is inscribed, 'When Again?', at the bottom is inscribed, 'Knockaloe/I.O.M./10.7.1915'. Brooch pin fitting removed from reverse, otherwise very fine.
