LESBOS, uncertain mint, light Lesbian standard, (c.550-480 B.C.), billon twelfth stater, 10mm, (1.26 g), obv. **LIS* above confronted heads of two boars, rev. quadripartite incuse square, (cf.S.3488, BMC 14, cf.Rosen 542, HGC 6, 1067 [R2]). Well-centred, and in unusually fine condition for the issue. Very fine and very rare.
