LYDIA, Blaundus, Volusian, (A.D. 251-253), in the name of Papios 1st Archon, AE 31, (11.39 g), obv. Volusian, laureate and cuirassed bust to right, around A K OVO**L*OVCCIANOC, rev. horseman advancing to right, holding double axe over shoulder, around **BLAUNDEWN E AR A PAPIOU / MAKE*, (S.-, BMC 92, SNG von Aulock 2932, cf.Pecunem (Numismatik Naumann) Auction Sale 39 3, January 2016 [same dies] realised 160 Euros). Slightly rough surface, brown patina, good very fine and very scarce.
