SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem, (Antioch), Philip II, (A.D. 244-249), billon tetradrachm, (11.67 g), issued 249, obv. laureate, draped and cuirassed bust to right of Philip II, around AVTOK K M IOV**LI FILIPPO*C CEB, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to right with wreath, around, **DHMARC EXOU*CIAC **UPATO D*, ANTIOXIA over S C in exergue, (cf.S.4146, Prieur 474). Attractive grey patina, extremely fine.
