MESOPOTAMIA, Carrhae, Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (12.75 g), issued A.D. 215-217, obv. radiate head of Caracalla to right, around AYT K M A ANTWNEINOC C EB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, to left above star, between legs crescent, in exergue two dots, around **DMARC EZ UPA TO D* (cf.S.2701, Prieur 830). Good very fine, with some traces of mint bloom, rare.
