INDIA, British, EIC, Bengal Presidency, Muhammadabad Banaras (Benares) Mint issue, 1776-1812, silver rupee, regnal years 17, AH 1190, (1776/7), with Darogah mark and fish (KM.40.1). Toned, minor edge cut, the first year of the EIC mint issue, nearly extremely fine and rare for first dated type.
