GROUP OF SIX: British War Medal 1914-18; Mercantile Marine War Medal 1914-18; 1939-45 Star; Pacific Star; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. H.G.Snell. Australia. 10. on first two medals, the third and fourth medals unnamed, H.G.Snell. M.N. on last two medals. All named medals impressed. Swing mounted, ribbons severely damaged, contact marks on last two medals, otherwise very fine.
Together with colour photos of plaque for crematorium; other b&w photos, a few in Merchant Navy uniform; postcards, some sent to his wife celebrating their wedding anniversary.
Harry George Snell, born in 1886 at Plymouth, England, Home Port - Brisbane, Qld; served on various Merchant Navy ships; Died 07Sep1968.
