AUSTRALIA, WWI, End of War Celebration in Brisbane cardboard cut-out 'Peace Dove', written on one side, 'After the 1914-1918 war when peace was declared there was a procession through the streets of Brisbane and these White Doves were hung and hanging by cotton on the lorries & horse wagons every where. I was lucky to get this one for a souvenir.' Affixed to a card, some foxing otherwise fine and an interesting piece of history.
