THE JOURNAL OF THE THREE DAYS OF THE BATTLE OF WATERLOO, being my own personal journal of what I saw and of the events in which I bore a part, by an eye-witness (translated from French), printed 1816 for the Military Chronicle and Military Classics Office at Bloomsbury, hardcover, 93pp with appendix i - xxxii plus fold-out map, bound by renowned book binder Walter Slinn; copy of The Times, London, Thursday June 22, 1815, with various details of the battle; large soft cover booklet, 13pp, from Sheffield City Libraries titled, Exhibition Of Bookbindings by Walter Slinn of Sheffield, Opened by Sir Osbert Sitwell, Bart., J.P., Central Library - Sheffield, October 12th - 26th 1946; b&w postcard from Wellington Museum, Apsley House, features nude marble statue of Napoleon I (1769-1821), by Canova. The book with foxing on map and cover pages and booklet with foxing on cover, otherwise fine - good very fine. (4)
