LOW COUNTRIES, 1815 Waterloo commemorative engraved square diamond shape copper medal 48x48mm., obv. horseman to left, 'Anno 1600, Nieuwpoort Vivat Oranje; rev. battle scene at Waterloo 1815 noting 'Ned Belg. Vereeniging der Penningvrienden'; together with 50 years commemorative of Waterloo, issued 1865 in Hannover, copper 29.5mm., obv. town gates, rev. inscription announcing 50 years after Waterloo. Both extremely fine, the first item illustrated and very rare.
