OFFICER'S DRESS SWORD, blade marked on ricasso, 'Hawkes & Co/Ltd,/1, Savile Row/London', and on the back edge, '8783', with decorative blade including monogram of King George V, with leather scabbard. The scabbard with a small tear near tip, the sword handle fittings and blade with oxidation, otherwise very good.

This was the dress sword worn by Major W.J.Holohan of the Loyal Regiment.^^See also lots 258, 434, 435, 457, and 4385.^ ^Note: Licence to own required in State of Victoria, Australia.^^No mail out for this lot, collection only from the Sydney Office, or buyer to make own arrangements.
