EARLY ANGLO SAXON, Primary Series, silver sceatta, (c.685-c.700), Series BII, (1.13 g) obv. diademed head right within serpent circle, rev. bird right on cross, annulet to to left, cross and annulet to right, (S.777A, N 126, BMC 27b, MEC 1-682). Toned with earthen patina, good very fine, scarce.
