ROMAN, 1st century A.D., carnelian intaglio set in the remnants of a ring, depicting the laureate head of a male youth facing left, (16 x 12mm). A few minor chips, otherwise very fine and rare.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 122, lot 3470.^From an old Sydney collection. Purchased 2009 from Bron Lipkin, ?300. Found in Jordan. With collector's ticket.
