CARIA, Knidos, (411-400 B.C.), silver obol, (0.79 g), obv. head and foreleg of roaring lion to right, rev. head of Aphrodite to right, hair bound in sphendone, all within incuse square, (cf.S.4843, SNG Copenhagen 254-5; SNG von Aulock 2599). Lightly toned, very fine and very scarce.
