TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), AE as, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 15-16, (10.95 g), obv. bare head of Tiberius to right, around TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVST IMP VII, rev. PONTIF MAXIM TRIBVN POTEST XVII, Livia seated to right, with patera and sceptre, S C across, (cf.S.1769, RIC 33 [R3], BMC 65). Good very fine with attractive green-black patination, extremely rare.

None in Coin Archives and noted in RIC as R3 = suggested that up to 10 examples may be known. This piece is one of the few known, possibly the finest known.
