HADRIAN, (117-138 A.D.), AE As, issued 121-122 A.D., Rome Mint, (10.28 g), obv. Around IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust to right of Hadrian, draped and cuirassed viewed from front, rev. S-C to left and right of field around P M TR P COS III, Pax standing to left, holding a branch and a cornucopiae, (cf.S.3688, RIC 676, cf.Strack 575, Glasgow 376). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.

Ex Baldwin's London with ticket, a similar example (illustrated in RIC) was in our Sale 131 (lot 1845).
