CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issued A.D. 194, (3.47 g), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around [D CLOD SEPT] ALBIN CAES, rev. around MINER PA CIF COS II, Minerva standing to left holding spear shield and olive branch, (S.6144, BMC 98, RIC 7, RSC 48). Toned, struck on a compact flan, very fine and rare.
