MAXIMINUS I, (235-238 A.D.), silver denarius, Rome Mint, (3.64 g), obv. laureate bust of Maximinus I to right draped and cuirassed seen slightly from behind, IMP MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG, rev. VICTORIA AVG around, Victory running to right, holding wreath and palm over left shoulder, (S.8317, RIC 16, BMC 105-7, RSC 99a). Extremely fine, very scarce.
