QUEEN'S SOUTH AFRICA MEDAL, 1899, (type three reverse), - five clasps - Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Johannesburg, Diamond Hill, South Africa 1901. 5193 A.Jolliffe 17/Lcrs. Engraved. Last clasp loose due to missing pin, nearly extremely fine.

Pte Arthur Jolliffe, commission agent, age 20yrs, born in Whippingham, Hampshire, England; Enl.03Dec1888 at Newport; Served in India 03Sep1889 to 03Nov1896 and South Africa 15Feb1900 to 08Mar1901; Disch.02Dec1901 on termination of his 1st period of limited engagement. ^^With original Parchment Certificate of Discharge and original Parchment Certificate of Character on Discharge, four photocopy pages of Service Record and original Carte de Visite photograph and two enlarged photos.
