PAIR: Egypt Medal 1882-89, (undated reverse), - clasp - Suakin 1885; Khedive's Star 1884-6. 1183. Gun: G.McCleod (sic). N.S.W. Arty: on first medal, second medal unnamed. The named medal engraved. Contact marks on first medal, otherwise fine - very fine.

Note: The engraver has misspelt the medal recipient's surname as McCleod, whereas it should be McLeod.^^1183 Gunner George McLeod, labourer, age 18, born at Stornoway, Scotland; Enl.13Nov1884; Emb.03Mar1885 for service in Sudan; RTA 23Jun1885.
