TRIO: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 2 reverse), - five clasps - Orange Free State, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laing's Nek, South Africa 1901; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. 3987 Pte C.E.Downs, Devon: Regt on first medal, 34 Sjt C.E.Downes 1/Bn. A.I.F. on second medal, 34 Sjt C.E.Downes. 1 Bn. A.I.F. on last medal. All medals impressed. The first medal with pin-back suspender and ribbon damaged, the first two medals cleaned and with contact marks, otherwise fine.
