James Creber, born 02Aug1857 at Twilley, Devon, England; joined RAN 01Jul1913 at rank of Lieutenant; Naval Ordnance Officer at Naval Ordnance Depot, Spectacle Island as recorded on 08Oct1913; to Lt-Commander 06Apr1919; Retired 30Jan1923 and placed on Retired List as Commander 31Jan1923, later removed from Retired List for non report.^^With copy of Service File.
