VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 74-75, (3.392 grams), obv. laureate head of Vespasian to right, around [IM]P CAESAR VESPASIANV[S AVG], rev. Victory standing to left, on prow of galley, holding wreath and palm, PON MAX TR P COS VI around, (S.2303 [£80 VF], RIC 93, RSC 368). Off centred obverse, otherwise very fine or better and scarce.
