TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), silver denarius, issued 103-111, Rome mint, (3.606 grams), obv. laureate head with aegis on far shoulder to right of Trajan, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P, rev. Fides standing to left, holding corn ears and dish of fruits, around S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, (cf.S.3161, BMC 200, RIC 176, RSC 483). Well centred, extremely fine, but with light scratch in obverse field.
